Introduction

Erik hasn't come finally. He said he had a lot of work to do and was too tired to come, so I'm a bit disappointed. I was so looking forward to see him here, and I had prepared everything to have a good night, bought some good food, good wine, planned to go to a thermal station today to chill out as he's so stressed with his work. I couldn't even offer to go to his place to help him because I have to be here today: I'm meeting the boyfriend of my mum. They have been together for a bit more than two years now, and I still don't know him. My mother wrote an email to ask if I wanted to meet him, and said that he's really nervous and scared to meet me. I don't know what she told him about me, but I'm not that scary I think :) So I'm eating at her at 5pm. I don't know where this sudden need to introduce us to each other comes from, I suspect that something official is preparing... we'll see... Anyway, I learnt from my experience with my father and his wife, and I'm not going to be a bitch boy and annoy him as we were to my step mother with my sister when we were a bit younger. I'm happy that my mother could find someone, and how he can stay with her is for me beyond understanding, that's a courageous man! (or a very weak one, I'll figure it out tonight)

I had free meal for the whole weekend, everybody thinks that I have nothing to eat in Basel and that I'm a poor boy, and send me some very good food. Yasmin brought me some turkish specialities, homemade by her mother and sister, and the mother of Sarah made her bring some meat with a morel and cognac sauce wich was a delight. Yasmin's sister is totally in love with me, and Sarah's mother never stops to say nice things to me and said to Sarah that I was the perfect son-in-law and her parents don't understand why she hasn't proposed me yet :) I always make good impression to the parents, and I always get presents, food, help or anything from the parents of my friends, it's great :D

So, I'm going to prepare for tonight, I have to find a good bottle in my cellar also. My sister already send some flowers and we are going to try to make this evening nice and comfortable. I should maybe bring something stronger than wine in case of emergency...
