Disappointment

I was expecting it a bit... Stan didn't show up and prefered to have his birthday dinner with his girlfriend... bitch... lol. He said he would tell me when he would come, and finally called to say he will be away, at his girlfriends, for one week. I guess I can put the bottle of wine in the cellar again, because he get some work in another town for a few weeks :/

I didn't know what to do during the weekend, as the only thing I had planned was to cook. Instead, I went to drink with some friends. I did quit the bar around 1 am, and then came back home with Yasmin to have pizza, she went home around 4 am. I slept all the day, and only woke up to buy a chicken, and invited Ulrika to eat at my place before going go see a play (I had got some free tickets). The play was crap, and after this long hour and a half listening to bad actors reciting like schoolboys, we went to have a drink. We met a guy that is flirting with her and I didn't understood anything but it was a lot of tension in the air...

She was awkwardly speaking with him, as a group of four women in their late 50ies came out of nowhere and sat at the table behind. I head a horrible voice that I recognized immediatly: the best friend of my mother. Another child psychologist, that was used to lock her children in the cellar without light, and imitating rat noises to scare them to death. I don't know what's wrong with this class of psychology, but both my mother and her learned some strange things... At least my mother never mistreated me in such ways! I have a certain contempt for these desperate women, that fucked their lives and blame only men for that, especially their husband in general... I told Ulrika we had to escape before she would recognize me. I really hate this woman, she's pure evil... We did, and ended up playing cards at my place.

I quit the work tomorrow, they don't need me anymore. I planned to go to the fitness, and also took an appointment with my instructor for a training flight, I hope that I will remember how to fly a plane! It's been 4 month that I haven't been flying. Bah, some bumpy landings, and it will come back :)

That video was taken at London city airport, where I have flown from/to many times. It has a REALLY short runway, so computers control everything on the plane during landing!

You come over Canary Wharf (the highest buildings in London) and then swoop down at a steaper angle than usual before landing.

Great little airport though!

Yes I know, I love this aiport, but never found a cheap flight to it when I go to London, but it's on my to do list. However, after seing this landing, I'm not sure that I still want to fly SwissAirLines :D I'm not sure that they are always landing with autopilot. The approach is impressive! Kind of a little Kai-Tak if you are a connaisseur ;)

I've flown around in planes so much all my life... but I'm glad I've never had to be in a plane that landed like that.

I'm sure that was a big disappointment about Stan. Hope there will be good times with him to make up for it.
