Busy

Wow, so many things to do from tomorrow till sunday... Tomorrow, the day starts at 8am with the cleaning of my flat. I invited Yasmin's family to come over for a meal on the evening. We'll be four people, Yasmin, her mother, and her sister. Everything must be perfect, I have a reputation ;) At noon I will maybe eat with my grand-mother, not sure yet. At 3pm I have an appointment for a job: I will have to look after 20 kids in a classroom and keep them working and quiet. I have no idea of how to make this thing work, as I am not sure to have enough authority to lead 20 kids that are 13-14 years old... It's a try, if it doesn't work I will not be hired :S

At 7pm dinner must be ready, and the menu is not totally decided. I'll have to go and see what I can get tomorrow morning. I already know it will include some chicken legs with an orange and honey sauce, and a chocolate cake. Her mother was so surprised, it's the first time that she hear anything about a man that cook, of course, in Turkey it's not really usual I guess.

Friday morning, I must be at work, they need me for a few hours left, and then I will just have time to eat something, take a bus to the airport, and jump in my plane for a training flight. Take off at 13:30 direction Saanen-Gstaad. It's a small airport in a montainous area. Gstaad is one of these villages for rich people. Johnny Hallyday (famous french singer) is living there, as well as Ernesto Bertarelli (America's Cup challenger), among others... It's a beautiful region. Here are some pics:

The second pic is a pic I took during a flight last summer. As you can see, it's definitely the place where nobody would build an airport. There are mountains at both ends of the runway. This was a military airport untill a few years ago, and as many of them, the army decided to build them in crazy location so that only swiss well-trained pilots would be able to operate jets there. Imagine how it was to land a fighter jet at high speed on this little runway... Crazy people!

And at my return, I will eat with a friend and go out with others to celebrate the end of the exams. I will have Saturday morning to have a rest before other appointments... pfff... Who said that being in vacation was relaxing? :D

my parents met in gstaad in 1954...and have bought a chalet there in 1957..there were no cars then, only large sledges pulled by horses...they now live between lugano and the mountains... so needless to say i know the region well as ive spent most xmasses there and part of summer too...one of the prettiest places i know...one of these days, we're going to bump into each other...lol

I will Aek, I will collapse :) just a few hours left!

Hey Xico, I'm sure we will, maybe we even live in the same town, I guess you're not living in a chalet in Gstaad, and there are not so many big cities around :) Lucky parents, Gstaad, Lugano... nice neighborhood!

See you!

Charlie, you sound like you would be a perfect bf. ^_^ I hope someone realizes that soon!

Anyways, if you're making chocolate cake I hope you plan on sending me a piece...

(PS - I know you like language advice here and there, so I thought I'd give a quick pointer: when you are taking care of people/pets/things you say "look after".)

Thanks for the language, it's corrected!

The chocolate cake was perfect, a little bit crunchy on the outside, and melting inside... mmmm :P What's your adress? :)
