Sailing boat ride

This evening was really cool! I went on the lake with my godfather, he owns a medium size sail-boat, and sailing is an addiction for him. He went around europe with sail-boats, working as a skipper here and there where he could find a job when he was younger. Now he has a "ground" job here, and sails as a hobby. We went to a little harbour about two hours from here, and we ate some little fishes, fried in butter, a local gastronomic dish that is delicious! We came back just a moment ago. I love to be on the water at night, especially on a sailboat, you hear nothing else than the sail flapping in the wind and the water against the boat, it's awesome, really relaxing.

My father also has a small boat, but he keeps it on the ground as he didn't found a place in the water to rent. He's a bit to meticulous sometimes... he's so worried that the boat would be swept away by a windgust that he attached her with so many ropes and chains that it takes hours to "unchain" the boat when we want to go. The result is that we never use the boat. He goes once a year during springtime, and then, during summer, when the weather is perfect to go, put the boat out of service for a complete revision, we have to go to help him with my sister, and scratch the old paint, and paint it again. I don't really see the purpose, as a matter of fact the paint is always ok as he never uses the boat more than once a year... Anyways... It's a bit annoying, because I love to go with the boat, and if he let me, I would go more often, with friends and all.

Changing the subject, I heard that Dan is back from his year in Germany. I'm a bit desappointed because he's been here for two weeks now, but he didn't call me or write an email or anything. I was told by another friend that he came back, and I tried to text him but he didn't answer, I don't know why... I'm looking forward to see him, I haven't seen him for a year, and although we have different views on everything and never understand each other, we really have good time together. He's really special (a bit weird sometimes) but always nice. He also is really hot, and loves to try new things... he's straight but I know he had sex with some guys, and apparently likes it :)

I missed him during this year, and I hope that we will have some time to see each other before I leave. In mid-september I'm going to the east of the country for six month, and it will be a bit more difficult to meet.
