Unlucky day

I was not really in a good mood this morning, because I was awoken by some explosions during this night, and couldn't fell asleep after that. I don't know what it was, but it was a serie of explosions in the neighbourhood around 3pm. Probably some kids fooling around with fireworks or anything. I received today a letter from the university. I was candidate to go to another university for a half year for an exchange and this was accepted, so this made me feel much better. It was also something even better: I will get a scholarship for this half year, wich will be enough to pay a one month rent. How cool! But...

Just a few minutes after, as I was eating a slice of bread for breakfast, I heard a noise when I was crunching, and I noticed afterwards that I had just broken one of my teeth and swallowed the little piece of it! Shit! So I will have to go to the dentist soon to fix it, and it will certainly cost me what I will get from the scholarship... Well, anyway, my grandmother will help me so it's not a big deal, but I'm disappointed! I'm also disappointed by the fact that I made a big mistake in my exam today, I had all right in my mind but wrote the wrong thing, I saw it at the last minute, and I had no time to fix it :( It's definitely not my day!

Things like that usually never happens to me, I'm always so lucky! I always have some little problems but everything turns fine at the end. For instance, I always get the subjects I know the best at my exams, I often find money on the ground, little things like that... in a more dramatical situation, I survived three engine failures in flight!! Well, thinking about that last thing, I never know if I have to consider myself very lucky, or really unlucky (I know no other pilot that had three engine failures at the age of 22!) I hope that my luck didn't turn away! Anyways, I will avoid to take a plane these next days :)

Awww, unlucky days. :( How did you crush and swallow your teeth?

I hope things look up from here though.

I didn't crush my teeth, but the slice of bread. A bit of the teeth broke (I have no idea how, the bread was not specially hard...) and I swallowed this little piece without noticing it...

I hope so too! :)

Doesn't the country your in have universal health care? Oh, that is not fun at all.

Well, there's a *hug* for your rotten day...I hope your good luck is returning to you. :)

Universal health care, yes, but they consider that the teeth care is of your own responsability, because it's not a question of health but a question of how careful you are with them... so no money for my teeth!

And by the way it was good I didn't took the plane yesterday, a plane crashed just at the end of the runway :S fortunately no-one was killed.

Things are better now, and I'm going to the crazy dentist tonight, I hope it wont be that expensive...
