Busy week

It's good that this week is over! I had so many things to do. It began with the story with the girl I found on my bed. The day after was terrible, I had to attend a family dinner at my grandmother, and even on the evening I could'nt really walk on a straight line :S I was so tired because I hadn't slept the night before. When I arrived there I found fourteen members of my family, all laughing and speaking very loud in swedish, I had to concentrate so much to speak and to smile to everyone. I had a splitting headache, and all the noise, the little children running around and shouting, it was a torture...

When I came home around 1 am I noticed that I had received a message from another cousin, that lives on the other part of the country. He was coming the day after with a friend from California, and wanted to show him the surroundings and sleep at my home. I said it was ok (especially because I was hoping his friend would be a californian surfer :P ).

So they arrived the day after, on the evening. My cousin introduced me to his friend. He was not what I had dreamt of ;) he was a short hispanic without anything special, kind but extremely shy, to the point I could hardly understand him when he was speaking. I had prepared a good meal, and we had some beers on the terrace before going to the city center where some friends of mine were waiting for us. We had fun there, and then just went home after a few hours.

On friday I had to go to a big birthday party. It was the 80th birthday of the uncle of my mother, and he came from sweden and invited all the family in a big five stars palace-hotel on the lakeshore. I had to write a speech, because I'm the one in the family that always has his mouth open :). I didn't know what to say though, because I don't know him very well. So I invented a funny story with the pictures of him I had. I was affraid that nobody would find it funny, wich would have been a bit awkward, but finally, it went very well and everybody laughed a lot, and congratuleted me for my speech. It was really nice! We had an awesome meal. I just went mad about the people that made speeches, because we had the most attractive piece of meat I had ever seen, and we weren't able to eat it when it was warm because we had three speeches, and I had also a german wowen just beside me that couldn't stop speaking, and asking questions. It was a kind of psychological torture!

I met my two young cousins from Sweden, a guy who is 24 and his sister. The guy was so good looking, very tall, fit, blond hair and blue eyes, he looked really nice in a suit. It's a shame we couldn't meet a bit earlier and go to the swimming pool :P

During all this time, I still hadn't called the girl, she had sent me some messages, but I hadn't even answered because I had a lot of other things to think about and didn't know what to say. So I called her yesterday, and asked if she was allright, and she said she was, and I proposed her to go to see the football match on a place where there is a big screen. I thought we could speak of what happened. I went to take her at his appartement, and I was wondering what to do and to say. When I arrived, I just said "hi" and she just kissed me on the cheek. We went down to see the match, but there I met my sister, her boyfriend, my aunt, uncle and cousin, so it was not at all the best moment to talk to her... well, at the end I took her home and she took me in her arms and said she was very happy that I had been with her on that evening, and left. I didn't know what to say, things are unclear and it's definitely not a good thing.

Man...that's your cousin you're talking about! :P

Um...hope things work out with the girl. AWKWARD.

Yeah...got a lot of hispanic people in California man. It's okay, though, as they can be just as cut as the surfer guys.
