Flying licence OK!

I finally made it! I got my licence renewed! I was really stressed out about that, because the forecast was worse and worse for the days to come, but yesterday the weather was perfect: no wind, no clouds. I jumped to the airport in the morning with a friend and we did a two hours flight, it was pure heaven! I am so relieved that it finally worked, it's a big stress I can put aside.

We overflew a very interesting building, the new learning center of the federal technical high school in Lausanne, wich has the shape of a cheese slice. How swiss is this? :D it's really impressive and fun to see from above:

It's not finished yet, but I'm looking forward to see the final result!

I went off the plane and my friend immediatly brought me to the hospital, where I got a little job. I had to control some people at the entrance and to ask some questions, it was not interesting at all, but I was in front of the library, and I talked with a lot of students, so it was cool. And I definitely want a doctor ;) I met a friend of a friend, a medicine student that is a couple years younger than me. He's gay, single, and really good looking. I have to find a way to have a drink with him.

Wait, I'm confused. Why did you go to the hospital? To meet up with people? Do you work there? o.O

Nice pics and congrats on the license!! :D

Congrats on keeping your license.

That's a fascinating building. Very clever: not only the holes, but also the waves.

@Aek: you know, I like to do many things at the same time :) I was there to work for the hospital, but it's a universitary hospital, so there are a lot of students around and I know some of them from high school.

@Xico: yep, I'm still waiting to do my hours quota of this kind of flying...

@Naturgesetz: thanks. I find this building awesome too. It must be extremely complex to build with all the waves. You can see more here if you're interested: http://www.edibek.com/2008/06/26/epfl-rolex-learning-center/

@James: thanks!
