It's also annoying because it is always someone in the flat, and the walls are really thin, and you can almost hear people breathing in the other rooms. When I came home yesterday, after running, I really needed a wank. I didn't notice that the polish girl was in her room. I went out to the bathroom to clean my hands after the mess I had done, and when I came back she saw me all sweaty and said "oh, I heard something and I wondered what it was, I guess you were doing some exercice in your room" and I just said that I'm used to make some push-ups and abs after running (wich is actually true), but I was totally red... :P at least I didnt put the sound of the porn I was watching!
I visited the city yesterday, I made a two hours tour in the old town and along the Rhine [wait, the polish girl just entered her room with a guy... maybe it's her turn to make some exercice... :)] and I have to say that this city is really nice. It's a district where there are small channels, and it looks a bit like Venezia, with a totally different architecture. It also really calm, and you have some small sand beaches on the shores at some places, with lovers that are happy to be alone. I saw two teenagers that were in each other arms, looking at the river and kissing, and I imagined to be there with a boyfriend...
I passed in front of the gay bar, but it seems to be a crappy place, it was a lot of waterdrops on the windows, like in the greenhouses when it's very humid, and I wondered how it would be inside, it must be humid and smelly, iark! Definitely not a nice place to have a beer!
Stan should call me today to confirm our "date" on friday, he very often cancels at the last minute, and it's very annoying. As a matter of fact, his girlfriend is flight attendant, and she can have very cheap flight tickets, and sometimes he calls a few hours before we are going to meet and says "Hi, mmm... I'm sorry man, but I'm taking a flight to Qatar in a few minutes, can we meet another day?" So I hope that he won't make the same thing this time.
Saturday evening, I went to eat at my father. It was really awesome, the lobster was fantastic and it was a lot of other things to eat, it was great. Less great was a piece of conversation we had. My stepmother was telling us that she could have a 15% discount on the lobster because the seller said she was beautiful and that her eyes looked like the sea bla bla bla... (very poetic for a fish seller ;) Well, she said that she can very often have discounts, and I said "so do I, but most of time it's when the seller is a guy." and my father said "yeah, beware son, there are a lot of them everywhere! didn't you see where you are staying, it's a massive gay culture there, there are much more than here and you have a lot of gay clubs and so, it's really disgusting, bah!" and my step mother said "yeah, beware, watch for your ass, there are so many guys that want to put their dick into the shit" and so on. I was really disappointed in what they were saying. And I imagined what it would be it they knew. I think that they'll have to die before I can live with a guy. I all the less understand their reaction that they have two lesbian friends, and one of them had a daughter and my father is her godfather, but he can say so stupid and hurting things about gays sometimes.
Well, that's how it is. Anyway, I'm having a nice time here. I have to begin to work a bit, so, see you!

Ugh, I hate thin walls. The wall separating my roommate's room and mine is pretty thin, so I try to keep the sound down when he's around. Thankfully he's not around a lot. :)
Sorry to hear your father and step-mother being like that. That's really disappointing. I hope everything works out with Stan though!
Ouch. I know how you feel. Sometimes parents can say some of the stupidest things.
I hope everything worked out well with Stan!
