First of all, the date: it didn't go as I wanted. We had a nice time, good talk, and shared a good meal. Everything went well until I asked where he was living in the city. When he told me he was living in a very posh neighbourhood, I thought something was strange, considering he's still a student. As a matter of fact, he's now living with his boyfriend who is... a lawyer :/ After that the conversation went well quiet as you can imagine...
Friday, after work, I took the train to the mountains, where Maria (my best friend) invited some friends for her birthday. Her friends are awesome, we laughed so much during that night! It's so cool to be with nice people under the stars, with a good bottle of wine, I love that :) I also met her boyfriend for the first time, and he seems to be a very nice guy.
I came back the day after, put the flat into order and worked out a little bit. I'm not sure that you would like to see the result... or would you? :P (sorry for the scratches on the mirror)
After that I invited the crazy girl to eat at home, for she was leaving the day after to Turkey. We had a few drinks, a few more, and when I said that it was time to go to sleep, she said she wanted us to have a bath together instead. Hum... well I explained her I wouldn't, and she said ok, let's go to sleep then. She jumped on me again, and I thought it was time to be honest. I told her quite directly, like "listen, we will never be together, because I'm gay" and she went mad, told me that she hated me etc... but she finally calmed down. She said that she was sorry "you know, since the first time we met, I have always thought that you were the one, that you would save my soul, that you were the only one that could understand me and be honest with me... I thought we would be so happy together... there are so many things between us. You have to understand me, I'm just falling appart right now." I didn't know what to say, so we just huged each other and fell asleep short after. I hope that we will still remain as good friends as we have been untill now. She'll probably need some time to get over it though...
Sooo... apart from that, nothing really special happened. I had some time to cook today, and made a nice meal. Living by myself, I miss having someone to share my meal with, there is less fun when you're not cooking for someone.
Garlic meatballs, tomatoes from the oven, with coriander and italian spices, and marinated green peppers from the neighbours. Homemade sweedish cookies for the dessert, and on the left the limes are ready to be squeezed for a capirinha (Getz/Gilberto ready in the cd player). Who would join? ;) I think that I should do some advertisement in front of my home :)

yummy looking food ... not only the one on the plate that is !
work out or not, you're a hottie !
First of all, I'm sorry your date didn't go how you wanted and that "crazy girl" flipped out at you. I hope everything's alright.
Second, you have a GREAT body! I seriously wish my body were as great as yours (working on it . . . slowly). I'm jealous. :P
Lastly, that meal looks delicious! I would love to join you, but I'd settle for the recipes (unless that's a closely guarded secret or something, then I'll have to resort to other means).
I hope everything goes well for ya. Btw, I tagged you in my latest post. ^_^
Is it showing? Of course it is! Hubba. ;)
And, I'll come over any day and let you cook for me. :D
No doubt it was a difficult moment for you when you told the crazy girl and had to deal with her reaction, but it's a good thing that she knows that she has to abandon her dream. I'm sure she'll be okay once she gets used to it, and whatever relationship you have in the future will be more comfortable for you and more realistic for her.
Nice pic of yourself.
Dinner looks and sounds good. I'd be happy to join you whenever I'm in the area. I agree, cooking for one is not quite as enjoyable as when there are people to share. But at least you get to enjoy a nice meal and maintain your cooking skills. Bon appétit!
