Aaaaah! I sometimes hate my american flatmate! He went back from Amsterdam a few days ago, and brought goat-cheese from there, that is horribly stinky... I have to tell you that not only do I hate cheese, but I'm also scared by it to a point you cannot imagine! (It must be a compulsive disorder or something like that). I have seen many scary things in my life, but the idea of cheese touching me is probably the most terrifying one. I can't eat with something that has touched cheese unless I have washed it several times, and I can't touch some unless I have some plastic gloves, and enven that is sometimes not enough :D
So, yesterday evening he ate some of his horrible cheese, and crumbs fell everywhere in the kitchen and in the fridge. This morning was a total nightmare! It was like walking on a mine field. And I had to wash everthing, I hope that no crumb has fallen in my belongings in the fridge! I'm crazy...
I have to have a nap before my first exam, cross your fingers for me!

this one was funny...i cant stand cheese myself too...just the idea of Fondue is repulsive to me...hehe...apart from that i'm actually lactose intolerant...so that explains that...another Swiss that doesnt like cheese, i Love it !

Why . . . do you hate and are scared of cheese? Are you lactose intolerant? Cheese can be yummy. :)
Next time warn him about the cheese maybe.
Some things can't be explained... I guess something happened to me with cheese when I was a kid :D I can eat anything else made with milk, but not cheese, and it not even eating it, but also touching it that scares me, wich tends to prove that its a psychological disorder :D
My sister knows it very well, and when she wants to threat me, she uses cheese, like a revolver, I have no choice to obey her, she can be very mean to me sometimes!

This is very interesting. I have heard of food dislikes, and compulsions about keeping foods separate on the plate, but I think this is the strongest phobia I've ever heard of.
It could continue to prove inconvenient at times, but you'll probably survive.
